Community Square by the Eagle River Rotary Club

Rotary Square 2022 - 2
Rotary Square 2022 - 1

Our Club and our Members are proud to support the Eagle River Revitalization Program's Community Square by the Eagle River Rotary Club Project.

Our community has transformed a previously vacant large corner lot in downtown Eagle River to an inviting and vibrant community gathering and green space.

The Community Square has been enhanced with artificial turf and offers shaded picnic tables, benches, a pet waste station, ashtrays, trash/recycling containers, portable planters, and seasonal decorations.

To date, we have raised $493,570. A ground breaking was held in September and work has begun on the building, which will offer public restrooms, a warming kitchen, food service counter and utilities. On an occasional basis, the site will be available for special events but year-round, daily, it will offer a place for locals and visitors to find solitude while visiting the downtown area. It will also offer a place for social outdoor dining with carryout being offered from the local restaurants.

Your donation - of any amount - will help complete this project!

Fundraising

Our club created the Eagle River Rotary Club Foundation as means of encouraging contributions to our major fundraising events. The Foundation operates our annual Wine and Cheese Fundraiser, a major source of funds for Club projects. Because of the tax-exempt status of the Foundation, we are able to provide receipts to donors who support our programs.
