About Us
Rotary Club of Eagle River
Founded on May 23, 1928, with sponsorship from the Rotary Club of Crandon, our club has proudly served the Eagle River community for nearly a century.
Throughout our history, our members have helped shape the community we proudly call home. We helped support the early development of the World Championship Snowmobile Derby, were among the early contributors to what became Eagle River Memorial Hospital, helped restore the Eagle River Railroad Depot, developed the Silver Lake Beach House, and most recently supported the development of Rotary Square in Downtown Eagle River.
For nearly a century, our club has believed that service should create a lasting impact for generations to come. That same spirit of service, leadership, and community commitment continues to guide everything we do.
We are proud to be part of Rotary District 6220 as Club No. 2661.

Rotary International (RI) - Founded 1905 Motto: Service Above Self
The mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
The Rotary Foundation (TRF) - Founded 1917 Motto: Doing Good in the World
The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
The Rotary Foundation helps fund our humanitarian activities, from local service projects to global initiatives. Our club and district can apply for grants from the Foundation to invest in projects and provide scholarships. The Foundation also leads the charge on worldwide Rotary campaigns such as eradicating polio and promoting peace. Rotarians and friends of Rotary support the Foundation’s work through voluntary contributions.
